The Traditions Educational Program has been created for those artists wanting to learn historic
and contemporary decorative painting techniques that bridge the gap to Fine Art. The program
has been written and designed by artists, for artists who seek education as their primary focus. In
recent years programs have fallen short of this expectation as classes became project
based. Even though this was industry driven, we can all agree it's time for a change.
The Traditions Educational program places the focus on teaching skills, necessary to take the
artist from the very beginning to advanced levels of Decorative Painting, guiding the student on a
30 lesson artistic journey and beyond.

With this comprehensive program, artists gain and continually build upon a solid foundation of
transferable skills and theory as well as historical styles which create the inseparable bridge to
Fine Art. Students experience the essential principles of Fine Art as well as Decorative Art
realizing that both disciplines are to be learned, admired and equally respected.

For more detailed information about the scope of this program please visit the Jansen Art
Traditions website at the following link www.jansenarttraditions.com.
